Rahul Sharma is a seasoned software professional with over 11 years of experience in handling QA/testing activities. He has a passion for testing, mentoring, automation, innovation, cost efficiency improvement, and coaching. Currently, he is leading the QA engineering charter at Fampay, India's first payments app for teens. Rahul has a proven track record of managing global SDET, QA vendors, and release engineering teams for ecommerce and hyperlocal decacorns. He has expertise in defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, and Clickup. He is skilled in strategic planning and execution of large-scale programs involving multiple backend and frontend QA teams, Agile Scrum, OKRs, and KPIs. Rahul has experience in test automation at different layers, including API and mobile, and scalability/performance/stress testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, and multi-tenancy A/B testing. He is an expert in all areas of project and risk management in STLC to support the development and release of business applications. He has built strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders and defined long/short term objectives for the QA org while driving performance management. Rahul is a tech professional with expertise in test planning, design & execution, reporting, estimation, reviews, monitoring & resource utilization skills. He has excellent communication & presentation skills in addition to problem-solving skills & techniques. He has implemented CI with Docker & Jenkins, which enabled the scripts to be executed automatically. Rahul has a proven track record of hiring & mentoring world-class backend/frontend QA teams focusing on automation/manual testing from ground zero. He has extensive experience in working with geographically dispersed & diverse engineering teams for multiple products, including legacy & new development. He has planned, analyzed, and reported various QA metrics and statistics required to improve/assess the health/progress of a project.
