Rajat Beck is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience in Android application development. He has worked with a diverse range of domains such as fintech, healthcare, last-mile logistics, e-commerce, and telecom. Currently, Rajat is working as a Software Engineer at Carousell Group, where he is responsible for developing new features and modules using Kotlin coroutines and Android Jetpack libraries. He has also worked on the UI end of the app and made the user experience seamless and smooth by implementing window inset animation provided by Android Jetpack. Prior to his engagement with Carousell, Rajat worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Airtel, where he introduced CI/CD feature and pipeline integration in Bitbucket along with Docker setup. He also improved the existing code base by introducing proper coding standards and practices, followed OOPS concept and SOLID principles to ensure code reusability as well as readability. During his tenure at Nykaa as a Full Stack Mobile Developer, Rajat integrated new features requests for the product ensuring all the proper coding guidelines and standards are followed. He also modified the code to a modular architecture so that each feature becomes a plug and play module and built an SDK for a module so it can be interoperably used between two different applications. Rajat holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
