Rajat Chaudhary is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer specializing in backend development and data engineering. With over 5 years of experience in software development, particularly in a startup environment, Rajat has built more than 10 projects from scratch and handled full backend development, designed APIs and services, set up database clusters, and managed DevOps. One of Rajat's notable achievements was helping to set up DaaS (Data as a Service) in his first company, which reduced server costs by 40% and gave the world access to APIs providing important medical data, including CTs, publications, and congresses. Recently, he developed a browser-based JS plugin to dynamically add multiple widgets to websites for e-commerce sellers. Currently, Rajat is handling a few microservices at Koo App, which deals with very high scale. He also added multiple Django apps to provide APIs, Asynchronous jobs using Celery/RabbitMQ, to integrate third-party APIs (Shopify, dynamics365, MWS), designed relational database models in PostgreSQL, and migrated services to GCP from AWS and set up the Kubernetes cluster. Rajat has also worked as a Member Of Technical Staff at Instart Logic, where he worked on the enhancement of NGINX plugins (in C++) that help in web performance by optimizing HTML/CSS/JS contents. He also set up Web Platform Tests (WPTs) infrastructure to strengthen Instart’s Javascript plugin, which runs in the browser, and deployed the test runner in docker containers with Jenkins CI/CD.
