Rajat Goyal is a highly skilled software engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Software Engineer - II at Uber, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining software systems. Rajat is a computer enthusiast who is passionate about software design and development. He has a strong background in data structures and algorithms and performs exceptionally well under pressure. Rajat performed load tests to benchmark performance and documented instance type suggestions based on CPU and memory resource utilization. He increased application read-write throughput from 125 MBps to 250 MBps by using separate disks for different types of operations. Rajat also implemented gRPC APIs by generating reports based on given query parameters and returning response in Protobuf format files. He added a top layer in query request flow which computes the signature of the current request and checks for prior completed requests with the same signature, and if found, returns the response from the already generated response in prior request. Rajat has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mathematics and Computing from Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE). He also completed his 12th from Modern Vidya Niketan, Sector 17, Faridabad, and his 10th from Aggarwal Public School, Ballabgarh.
