Rajat Singh is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 3 years of experience in the IT industry. He is a graduate of National Institute of Technology Silchar, where he earned his Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Since joining Optum as a Software Engineer, Rajat has worked on multiple projects related to the health care industry, including UI development, backend development, REST APIs development, design planning, middleware integration, monitoring, performance improvement, and business presentations. Rajat is passionate about coding and always eager to learn and enhance his skills. He possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. His technical skills include proficiency in data structures and algorithms, low-level design, design patterns in Java, Java, C, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Material-UI, Next JS, Git, Github, SQL, PostgreSQL, DBMS, OS, computer networks, PEGA 8.5, PEGA 8.6, and Splunk. He is also experienced in working with Agile SDLC methodologies. At Optum, Rajat is currently working on the Prior Authorization System, where he has developed multiple features as per business requirements, REST APIs, and fixed crucial bugs. He has also worked on different aspects, including analysis, design planning, coding, test execution, performance optimization, and monitoring. He has used Java, PEGA, SQL, Kafka, and Splunk for this project. Rajat has won two Bravo Awards and has successfully passed the PEGA CSA Certification exam and the PAS FSE (Full Stack Engineer) program. Before joining Optum, he worked as a summer intern at CDAC, where he pre-processed a data set of Sikkim State residents and implemented machine learning models SVM and logistic regression to predict the overall health status of a person. He finally implemented an artificial neural network to predict the overall health status of a person with an accuracy of 91.7 percent. He used Python, Pandas, and PostgreSql for this project.
