Rajath Shashidhara is a highly skilled and experienced Research Scientist and Software Engineer with over 4 years of relevant experience. Currently, he is working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Computer Science, The University of Texas at Austin, where he is conducting research on the hardware acceleration of datacenter TCP stacks using programmable SmartNICs. Rajath has previously worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Confluent, where he worked with the Cluster Management Team on the development of Kubernetes Operator for automating deployment life-cycle of complex stateful Kafka clusters. He has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Computer Science, The University of Texas at Austin, where he taught CS 378 Cloud Computing. Rajath holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, a M.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics, and a B.E. (Hons.) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in Kubernetes, Kafka, and other relevant technologies.
