Rajesh Katikam is a full-time trader and investor with vast experience in software component development. He has a proven track record of designing, developing, and testing software components and defining SOWs, scope, acceptance, and performance criteria for external service providers. Rajesh has led small teams in software component development and provided inputs on the engineering side to the sales and marketing teams. Rajesh's work involves machine and deep learning, imaging and video algorithms development, video codecs, and other video and imaging algo research, full-stack web development. He has extensive experience in multiple programming languages like C, Python, Javascript, and the associated libraries and frameworks. Rajesh is passionate about systematic stock trading systems, including idea generation, backtesting, and live trading. Currently, Rajesh is working as a Sr software Engineer at AMD. Previously, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at VIXS Systems Inc., where he designed and implemented video algorithms for video playback with trick modes and programmed hardware-accelerated codecs. These algorithms are in real use with Sling Media's "Sling Box". Rajesh has also worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Hewlett Packard, where he worked on imaging algorithms for large format printers. Rajesh holds a Master's degree in Digital Signal Processing from IIT and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University. He has relevant experience of 18.45 years and possesses a tech stack that includes software engineering, web development, deep learning, testing, Python, Javascript, and research scientist. Rajesh is an avid reader and learner who typically signs up for a lot of courses on Coursera, Udacity, and edx to learn new technologies.
