Rajesh Roshan is a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer with over 11 years of work experience in the field. He is currently working with General Electric Healthcare division as a Staff Software Engineer, where he is responsible for the end to end performance engineering of healthcare products. Rajesh has a good understanding of application profiling and database tuning using the latest software tools available, and has worked on tuning several Java/J2ee web-based applications. Rajesh's expertise includes JVM tuning, GC tuning, heap profiling, detecting memory leak, thread contention, connection leak, web page speed, data concurrency, DB optimization (worked extensively on MySQL optimization), query tuning, network profiling using network sniffing tools like WireShark, detecting TCP packet loss, and more. He has used tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, AppDynamics, Sitescope, JConsol, JProfiler, JVisualVM, JMC, IBM Heap Analyzer, WireShark, WANem, Ksar, GCViewer, Firebug, Fiddler, PerfMon, and others. In the past, Rajesh has been engaged in understanding the complex requirements of applications from the perspective of business analysts for test designing, planning, defect management, back-end testing, and performance testing & engineering. Before joining General Electric, Rajesh worked as a Senior Performance Engineer at Oracle, where he was responsible for delivering the best experience in terms of performance to the clients/end users of Oracle using its cloud-based corporate social networking product. His responsibilities included ownership of end to end performance engineering of Oracle cloud product. Rajesh holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Biju Patnaik University. He completed his 12th grade from De Nobili School with a focus on PCM. Rajesh's tech stack includes software engineering, senior software engineering, testing, web, Java, MySQL, and back-end.
