Rajiv Onat is a seasoned technologist, product management expert, engineer and ideator with over 24 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently serving as the India Head of Digital Technology and Engineering at Regeneron, he is responsible for driving digital transformation, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and informatics initiatives for the company. Prior to joining Regeneron, Rajiv has held several senior leadership positions at top-tier companies including Visa, Ola and Hortonworks. As the Senior Director of Product - Data and AI Platforms at Visa, he led the development and deployment of data-driven products and solutions that enabled the company to make real-time business decisions. At Ola, he served as the Director of Data Platforms, Data Engineering and BI, where he established a vision, roadmap and buy-ins across business, product and engineering stakeholders. He also managed a high-performance team of data engineers that delivered compelling and differentiated data-driven products at scale. Rajiv's expertise lies in big data analytics, large-scale distributed processing, stream processing, data science, BPM, and cloud computing. He is a proficient AI practitioner, product manager, data scientist and data engineer with a deep understanding of how to leverage technology to deliver disruptive products to the market. Rajiv holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications from Bharathiyar University and has a strong technical background in AI, data science, big data and data engineering.
