Rakesh P is an Engineer- Systems with over 5 years of experience in Design and Development of Test Systems (ATEs) and Control Systems. He is an NI LabVIEW expert with key expertise in scripting in C, Python, NI TestStand, NI DAQ, and 3rd party and custom embedded IO's hardware interfacing with NI LabVIEW. He is also experienced in industrial PLC's interfacing with NI LabVIEW using DSC module, Beckhoff PLC (TwinCAT 3), and OPC UA. Currently working as a System Engineer at Sunlux Technovations, Rakesh is involved in the design and development of ATEs and Control Systems using NI LabVIEW. He has integrated systems, developed drivers and application software using NI LabVIEW, C, BASH script for various industrial plant operations. He is experienced in using communication protocols like TCP/IP, Modbus TCP/IP or RTU, I2C, SPI, RS232, RS422, etc. and PC-based automation solutions such as Beckhoff Embedded PC CX-9020, FieldBus Couplers, I/O Modules, and supplements for various communication protocols EthernetIP, ProfiBus, RS232, RS485/RS422, etc. He also provides complete IIoT solutions using OPC UA/DA Protocol, Database Technology (SQL, PostgreSQL). Rakesh has also worked as a Test Engineer at Rakon, where he was responsible for product test development and manufacturing failure analysis. He developed new product test development plans and executed them for qualification of new products. He designed and redesigned ATE applications and validations for yield improvement using NI LabVIEW and monitored and analyzed electrical test results for optimization of product’s electrical specifications through SPC (Cp-Cpk analysis) lead to modification of test specifications for changing from skewed to centralized distribution. Rakesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communications from Visvesvaraya Technological University. He is proficient in test, SQL, Python, and SDET and has a relevant experience of 7.36 years.
