Ramesh Kumar is a visionary leader with over 15 years of experience in data science, solution architecture, and industrial AI. He has a proven track record of inspiring excellence, creating high-potential analytics teams, and driving large-scale industry 4.0 transformations across business verticals. He is a dynamic strategist with a clear understanding of strategic analytics and setting up practical but powerful strategies for the long-term success of the organization. Currently, Ramesh is the Director of eugenie, where he is driving industrial product innovation through AI. He is also leading a large-scale AI implementation in manufacturing across Tata Steel. Ramesh has extensive experience in supply chain, manufacturing, energy and power, and IoT-based end-to-end analytics solutions. His key projects have received recognition at ORSI, AIMA, IMC, World Economic Forum - Light House, and several other international forums for industrial analytics innovation. Prior to his current role, Ramesh was the Head of Data Science & Center of Excellence at Tata Steel, responsible for analytics life cycle management across business functions and setting up ACOE with a strong team of data scientists and consultants. He designed and developed highly scalable closed-loop IIOT analytics platforms for predictive maintenance across Tata Steel for major critical equipment. Ramesh was also responsible for driving a transformation and adoption culture for analytics-driven decision making across the business function with a target potential business value impact through a $2 billion digital transformation program at TSL. Ramesh has a Master of Technology in Industrial Engineering and Management from IIT Kharagpur and a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from NIT Durgapur. He also completed his +2 in Science from Sainik School Tilaiya. Ramesh's tech stack includes AI, data science, ML, research science, data engineering, Python, recommendation systems, infra, NLP, integration, deep learning, P2P, object detection, RNN, object detection, data warehousing, neural networks, web, and senior software engineering. With 17.29 years of relevant experience, Ramesh is a result-oriented leader with a passion for creating a culture of sustainable growth and technical capability in ever-changing domains.
