Ravikiran Sastry P.V. is an experienced Product Manager with over 9 years of experience delivering software products at both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. He has expertise in B2B SaaS product management, user research, and cross-functional leadership leading agile teams. Ravikiran has shipped multi-million-dollar software products and features, and is skilled in product discovery, experimentation, pricing models, launches, and agile product development. Ravikiran graduated in 2019 from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master's degree in Product Management, a twelve-month interdisciplinary graduate program integrating technical instruction from Carnegie Mellon's top-ranked School of Computer Science and a deep dive into business and marketing from the Tepper School of Business. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. Currently, Ravikiran is an Event Board Member and Industry Insights professional at CMU Tech & Entrepreneurship, where he is building the Carnegie Mellon entrepreneurship community and supporting CMU founders. Previously, he worked as a Product Manager at Vertex, a leading provider of indirect tax compliance software for enterprise and mid-market businesses. In this role, he defined product requirements and strategy, evangelized product vision to stakeholders, and managed the launch of two major product releases from conception through launch with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and tax content researchers. Prior to Vertex, Ravikiran worked as a Product Manager at Numo LLC, where he created a roadmap and outlined strategy for a retail real estate data product after conducting extensive customer discovery, including interviewing 24 real estate managers across 11 retail verticals.
