Ricki Hastings is a Principal Engineer with over 8 years of experience in software engineering. Currently, he works at eBay's KnownOrigin Labs R&D division, where he is part of the team responsible for delivering eBay's Web3 capabilities. Ricki has a diverse skill set and has worked with an array of different technologies, including AWS, Node.js, Golang, Kubernetes, Postgres, Druid, React, and GraphQL. Before joining eBay, Ricki worked at Peak AI in Manchester for nearly 3 years. At Peak, he worked on solutions that are part of the Customer Intelligence suite in their Connected Decision Intelligence platform. He then moved to the Platform team, where he worked on projects that improved the Developer Experience for Engineers working on the platform. Prior to Peak, Ricki was the Lead Frontend Developer at Degree53, where he was responsible for the overall architecture of the frontend solution for an enterprise white label product. Ricki holds a degree in Applied Computing BSc (Hons) from the University of Cumbria. He has a strong background in Frontend development, Web3, AI, and Kubernetes. Ricki is a highly skilled software engineer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
