Rishabh Soni is an experienced data science leader with over 11 years of experience in consulting and product firms. He has a proven track record of using ML/Statistical Modeling to solve complex business problems. Rishabh is currently working as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he leads a team of data scientists in the Investment Banking Strats division. His team is responsible for building a Deal Prediction Platform that recommends high-impact transaction opportunities across all IBD products, such as M&A and Follow-ons. Additionally, his team is building ESG analytics capabilities for client advisory and a recommendation engine for client content. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Rishabh worked as a Principal Data Scientist at Fidelity, where he implemented various classification models to predict currency risk, forecast offer spread for corporate bonds, and identify hard-to-borrow stocks for sec-lending markets. He also worked on initiatives such as predicting outflows in portfolios and building a missing value imputation recommendation guide for data scientists. Rishabh was the winner of the Eureka Award for innovation during his time at Fidelity. Before Fidelity, Rishabh worked as a Data Science Associate at BlackRock, where he developed algorithms for detecting trading patterns and investment styles using trade diaries for fundamental equity Portfolio Managers. He also designed and implemented a new exception framework for regulatory reporting and developed a recommendation algorithm for investment management documents using word embeddings. Rishabh holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from IIT. He has expertise in data science, ML, Python, SQL, Snowflake, and AWS. He is also skilled in technologies such as Random Forest, XGBoost, Deep Learning, and NLP. Rishabh has over 12 years of relevant experience in the field of data science and is interested in exploring opportunities in data science leadership roles.
