Riyaz Shaik is a highly skilled Master’s student in computer science with 4 and a half years of full-stack development experience. Riyaz is skilled in building enterprise-based applications using Java, Restful API services, Microservices, and Spring Framework. He also has experience in web development with frameworks like Angular and Vue.js. Riyaz is well-versed with Database concepts and has worked with Relational Databases like Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like Cassandra. He has a strong knowledge of Agile Methodologies and is proficient in data structures and algorithms, SOLID principles, and Design patterns. Currently, Riyaz is working as an Intern – Software Developer at World Fuel Services, where he is primarily responsible for migrating mule services to java. He has migrated a microservice with 4 REST endpoints which dealt with vendor information from mule platform to java, spring framework and deployed it on AWS. He has also worked on creating a functional testing framework using selenium and cucumber and writing integration tests for the migrated microservices. In the past, Riyaz has worked as a Full Stack Developer in Chase Auto Domain at JP Morgan, where he was responsible for building APIs and web applications for Chase Auto’s car-buying platform, E-Contracting platform. He has designed and built REST-based cloud-native microservices using Spring Framework to build Chase Auto’s car-buying platform. He has also collaborated with senior team leads to conceptualize and execute a digitalized car loan contracts system. Riyaz has saved $400kpa by migrating a mission-critical enterprise application from a traditional on-premise server to cloud using spring cloud and deployed on Pivotal Cloud Foundry. Riyaz has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida, which he will complete in August 2022. He also has a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology. Riyaz has experience with AWS, Microservices, Web, Selenium, NoSQL, Docker, Kafka, Jenkins, ETL, Frontend, and other related technologies.
