Robert Morel is a highly skilled SecOps Engineer with over eight years of experience in IT security operations, management of cloud network security and web application security. He is currently working at CoinFLEX as a SecOps Engineer, where he is responsible for the installation and operation of SecOps tools, testing and reporting. Robert's current focus is on ethical hacking and pen testing of web applications, but he also has an increased focus on network security and blockchain/smart contract security. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Anglia Ruskin University, which he obtained in 2016. Before specialising in IT security, Robert spent seven years working in software and web application development. He has worked as a senior web developer and IT security officer at CoinFLEX, where he managed the website and microsites, was in charge of development, deployment and testing, and was responsible for plugin development, API development, server and cloud infrastructure, and communication using collaboration tools. He also worked as an HTML5 Security Learning Path Instructor at INFOSEC, where he was contracted to develop a learning path in HTML5 Security. He created the curriculum, slides, code samples and assessments, and presented a complete online training path comprising six courses in HTML5 Security that are available on the INFOSEC Institute platform. Robert's technical skills include web development, testing, blockchain, smart contract and infrastructure. He is dedicated to ensuring InfoSec adherence, documentation, policy and training to ensure internal IT security. Robert is a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and to a high standard. He is passionate about IT security and keeping up to date with the latest technologies and trends.
