Rohan Gurubhaiye is a skilled Data Scientist currently working at Great Learning where he is involved in a project to classify data into specific categories using NLP and generate graphs that provide consolidated insights. With a relevant experience of 0.78 years, Rohan has worked on specific text extraction from various types of files using Python, OCR, Image Processing, and PDF mining. He has also developed a Human Profession Identification Model using Computer Vision methodology and performed Bit Transfer using LiFi Technology. Rohan has worked as a Backend Developer and delivered two commercial websites. He has also developed an Automatic Time Table Generator as his final year Diploma project in Computer Technology. Prior to joining Great Learning, he worked as a Data Scientist Intern at Worley where he built an API for extraction of specific textual data from certain types of documents. He performed Image processing and made use of various OCR to perform extraction. He also worked on PDF Mining to mine out data from Digital Documents. He has also worked as an Intern at Webnet Broadband where he worked as a Web Developer and Network Engineer. Rohan has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Aurangabad, and is currently pursuing a Master of Technology in Specialization in Big Data Analytics from VIT, which he expects to complete in December 2022.
