Rohan Verma is a highly skilled software engineer currently working at Zerodha Tech. With over 7 years of relevant experience, he is a polyglot programmer with expertise in dotNET, Python, RabbitMQ, Golang, MongoDB, and Jenkins. He also has a keen interest in Machine Learning and has completed a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity. Rohan started his career as a Software Engineering Intern at Dell, where he developed Golang and Python microservices that ingested gigabytes of data utilizing RabbitMQ from an existing event-triggered ecosystem. He also contributed to building a B2B partner-facing dashboard and rule editor using AngularJS and JQuery, respectively, that allows the operator to modify rules on the fly. During his internship, he worked as a Pivot using Pivotal Lab Methodologies and applied BDD Testing alongside deploying to a CI/CD pipeline to improve production deployment times using Jenkins and Cloud Foundry. Apart from his work at Dell, Rohan has also made significant contributions to the Apache Allura project, which is a Top Level Apache project. He is an Apache Allura Committer and has contributed to the project in various ways. Rohan has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Shiv Nadar University and completed his high school education with a focus on Computer Science with Science Stream from Apeejay College. He is a tech enthusiast and loves to explore new technologies and tools. He has a solid software engineering skill set and can work efficiently in a team environment. In his free time, Rohan likes to work on personal projects and contribute to open-source software. He has an active Github profile where he shares his work.
