Rohit Battu is an experienced Software Development Engineer with over 4 years of experience in building websites, web applications, and microservices. He is currently working as an SDE ll at Amazon and is a part of the Transportation team that plans for all the packages across the globe. Before joining Amazon, Rohit worked as a Software Development Engineer at Yatra where he was a part of the Common Services team. He worked on various technologies and frameworks such as Spring, MySQL, MongoDB, EHCache, Aerospike, Spring Boot, AngularJS, Web Services, Apache Kafka, and developed a custom Kafka MongoDB connector that polls the DB for updates and pushes it to Kafka. He also worked on the development of REST services and implemented a platform project for DB level Audit that would capture the history of data stored and also exposed REST APIs on top of them, which would show the audit history. Rohit has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and has completed his Intermediate education from Narayana Junior College. He completed his high school education from D.A.V Public School and Bhashyam High School.
