Rohit Chougule is a highly skilled Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs with a passion for using his knowledge of Computer Science to solve complex problems. He has a keen interest in Distributed Systems, Data-intensive and Scalable Software Systems, Data Management, and Storage Systems. Rohit is a confident communicator and works well in teams with flexibility and efficiency. During his time in college, Rohit was the President of ACSES, a Departmental Technical Club of Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, where he led a team of 75+ people to carry out numerous events (tech/non-tech/social). His achievements and activities include winning the ACM ICPC 19 Regionals, Smart India Hackathon 19 by MHRD, Techgig Code wizards, and the Global Blockchain Hackathon 18. He is also a Codechef Certified Data Structures & Algorithms Programme holder, winner of Imagine Hackathon by PGS Pune, runner-up of ACM Research Symposium, problem setter for Programming Contest, and winner of Codecrush by WCE. Rohit has worked as a Campus Ambassador for HackerEarth and is a Student Member of the ACM Association for Computing Machinery. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli-M.S, and a Science degree from Sanjay Ghodawat University. He also completed his Matriculate education at New Model English School, Kolhapur. Rohit has 2.86 years of relevant experience and is proficient in various technologies such as Java, Kafka, ETL, AWS, Web, C, MySQL, and Django. He is also experienced in Blockchain and has worked as a Research Scientist. Rohit is a valuable asset to any team and is always eager to learn and grow in his career.
