Rohit Malhotra is a Senior Technical Product Manager at Amazon with a diverse range of skills and experience in Dev, Design, Product, Strategy, and Growth. Rohit has also delivered India's first initiatives to improve address delivery probabilities such as type-ahead address suggestions, residential-commercial predictions, token-based suggestions & weekend delivery preference predictions for India, which has primarily unstructured addresses. This has reduced the average customer keystrokes for address creation from ~120 to ~30, decreasing customer friction & drop-offs on the address creation page. He has also delivered a platform capability for business teams to restrict the air-shipment of items to save shipping costs, amounting to millions quarterly. Furthermore, Rohit proposed and developed a solution that minimised CX difference, shipping products in the same duration via ground instead of costlier alternative (air). He co-ordinated with over 20+ teams spanning across different locations: Seattle, Vancouver, Beijing, etc. for the execution of a compatible solution, gaining approval and aligning various stakeholders, senior developers and principal engineers. Rohit has developed several experiences for close-looping brand communication [with Amazon] that allowed seamless installations of large appliances, heavy & bulky devices, etc at customer premises. He has also led several large scale initiatives to improve new to Amazon customer shipping, and delivery experiences. Rohit's past experience includes working as a Software Development Intern at Microsoft in the Bing Segments Team and as a UI/UX Lead at Flicksys. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Manipal Institute of Technology. Rohit's technical skills include Product Management, ML, Software Engineering, and UI.
