Rohit Patil is a skilled software engineer with a passion for backend development. With almost 4 years of relevant experience, he is an expert in Nodejs and Golang and has a strong knowledge of microservice-based architecture and OOPS concepts. Rohit is always eager to learn new things and welcomes feedback from users to improve his work. Rohit's technical skills are extensive, including proficiency in Golang, NodeJs, Java, C++, Python, MySql, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and GIT. He also has experience with Azure Devops, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes, making him a well-rounded developer. Currently, Rohit is a Software Engineer (Backend) at Jio, where he designs and develops microservices for JioNews, a product with a user base of over 10 million. He writes modular, reusable, and optimized code to handle complex business logic and scales and optimizes the system to provide better system performance. Rohit also develops data ingestion pipelines for aggregating content from 500+ publishers across different content types and actively participates in problem-solving sessions with his team. Prior to his current role, Rohit worked as a Software Development Engineer at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, where he developed and deployed an e-admission portal for a college. He also worked as a Software Developer at Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, where he developed an automated vehicle parking system that could detect the type of vehicle and its license plate number and locate an empty parking slot available in the company premises. Rohit holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology and a Science degree from DAV Public School, Panvel. His technical expertise, combined with his eagerness to learn and problem-solving skills, make him a valuable asset to any team.
