Rohit Rathi is a highly motivated and diligent student currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Mathematics at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. With a passion for software engineering and research, Rohit has gained valuable experience in the field, having worked as a SWE Intern at Uber and a Summer Intern at CSIR. During his time at CSIR, Rohit developed an Android App that helped companies communicate work status to employees during the COVID period. The App had two login modes - Login as an Employee, log in as an HR/ Manager. The manager of the company would grant the work status to employees as "Work from Home" or "Work From Office" considering relevant metrics. Rohit used Google Cloud Firestore as a database and also stored a local copy of saved data in SQLite Database. His proficiency in Android Studio, Google Cloud Firestore, and SQLite Database makes him a valuable asset to any team. Rohit's technical expertise extends beyond software engineering, as he has a strong foundation in mathematics, which he believes is essential in problem-solving. He is a quick learner and has a keen eye for detail, which has helped him excel in his academic and professional pursuits.
