Prior to his current role, Romeo worked at Turntabl, where he implemented a high-frequency trading engine (HFT) with the best tick-to-trade latency. He also won the trade war hackathon and was assigned to the Market Data team, which led him to his current position at Morgan Stanley. At Union Systems Global Gh. Ltd, Romeo was responsible for designing and implementing a core credit scoring engine, co-implementing a quorum engine for loan approvals, and co-implementing a credit collateral management platform. He also played a key role in developing a loan repayment system that handled capital reductions, write-offs, early settlements, top-ups, and rescheduling. Romeo has experience working with Java, PHP, Oracle SQL, Oracle Database, and PL/SQL. Romeo holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah'​ University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, which he completed in 2020.
