Ruben is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in the mobile industry. He has expertise in Android, Android Architectures, Coroutines, Retrofit, Firebase, Kotlin, and Java. He graduated from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore, and has a demonstrated history of working with top companies in the industry. Currently working as a Software Development Engineer at ShareChat, Ruben has previously worked with Reliance Jio and Mahindra Comviva. At Jio, he developed the voice ordering feature in the app, worked on the complete test suite for the android application, and continuously monitored Firebase Crashlytics to keep the crash-free users app above 99%. He also worked in sync with the analytics team to continuously improve the user experience in the app. At Mahindra Comviva, Ruben developed the international mobile recharge feature, split bill feature, and a feature to save the debit cards of the user in the system. He also managed ETL server and designed transformations and jobs for Pentaho DI. He designed reports and wrote queries for Pentaho Reporting Suite. Ruben's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore.
