Before joining Prophecy.io, Ruchir worked as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Nutanix and as a Senior Software Engineer at Cisco. At Cisco, Ruchir started working as a UI developer in HTML5 for Electronic Programming Guide (EPGs) as a proof of concept and was able to bring it to realization. He worked on the development of multiple UI screens in the initial few months and did prototyping of an EPG for set-top boxes, contributing to the UI design for better usability and defining the technical limitations in achieving the product out of the design. The product is under development for the above prototyped EPG of which Ruchir is a part. Ruchir holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from B.M.S. Institute of Technology. He is skilled in UI, software engineering, JavaScript, design, testing, web, SQL, Redux, search, ReactJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, frontend, backend, NodeJS, and Python.
