Sachin Mahajan is an IT leader with over 20 years of executive and hands-on experience in delivering large programs for multimillion-dollar organizations in a global environment. He has performed multiple leadership roles in global delivery and business development and provides strategic direction to senior management and customers on IT and business transformations. Sachin has experience in infrastructure, cloud, applications, platforms, delivery/portfolio management, business transformations, program/transition management, pre-sales (large and proactive bids), service delivery (managed services), project management (application and product development) with knowledge on multiple industry verticals such as manufacturing, hi-tech, resources, financial services, insurance, government, and BPO. Sachin has managed customers and teams across multiple geographies for Fortune 500 global organizations, including North America, UK, Europe, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, India, and APAC region. He is an alumnus of I.I.M. Calcutta and Sardar Patel (S.P.C.E.) Mumbai and is trained and certified on key industry practices and methodologies. Currently, Sachin is the Director/Head Large Deals at L&T Technology Services Limited, where he is responsible for managing large deals with bids over USD 100M. He is driving initiatives for automations, innovations, and quality leveraging industry standard tools and practices and is a people's manager with responsibility for over 800 global resources with experience in practices of people takeover, hiring, contracting, and partner management. Sachin is responsible for reviewing transitions for large business programs, business planning, introduction of new service lines, and skill transformations. Prior to L&T, Sachin worked as a Director at Infosys, where he was the global delivery leader for hi-tech, resources, and manufacturing industry segments for cloud, infrastructure, platforms, and applications. He was responsible for a business with an annual turnaround of over USD 80M across geographies and worked with the CxO community and client senior management for consulting, advisory, business/IT transformations, and strategic operations. Sachin's past experience also includes working as a Project Manager at GE Capital (now Genpact), where he was responsible for digital and business transformations, product management, software consultancy, solution delivery in BFSI domain, vendor management, customer engagement, and people management.
