Samarjit Saha is a competent IT professional with over 20 years of experience in establishing IT goals, objectives, and operating procedures. With extensive offshore and onsite experience in multiple Information Technology functions in Online Travel, BPO, Telecom, and NBFC, he has an impressive success rate in multi-site facility roll-out, including Data Centre Build & Migration, Servers, Network, and Storage. Samarjit has accelerated significant growth in business performance, EBITDA, and growth, by creating pragmatic IT strategies and delivered innovative solutions that were client-focused and brought top-line results. Currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at xcelserv solutions pvt. ltd., he has spearheaded IT Infrastructure Operations including control of operational and capital costs, technology implementation, transition, and service delivery. He has also provided technological direction, proposed budgets for programs & projects, purchases & upgrades, and presided over IT Information related projects. Samarjit has streamlined the Project Management, Call Centre, DevOps & Data Centre Activities and designed & implemented strategic information technology solutions involving design of strategy & execution roadmap, objectives, and operating procedures. He has liaised with travel industry GDS providers (Sabre, Travelport, Amadeus) and airline consolidators, initiating Agile/Scrum Methods for substantial team efficiency improvements, reduction in defects, faster and more frequent releases, and transformed business opinion of IT. He has also supervised project and resource allocation, along with implementing structure and processes to enable accurate tracking of project progress and generation/presentation of update reports to CEO. He has steered Greenfield Data Center setup from planning to implementation in United States Tier 5 co-hosting facility @ Switch SUPERNAP (On-site in United States) and successfully migrated Online Travel portal environment from Public Cloud to Hybrid Cloud. He has also steered the creation of AI-based applications for defining Fare Intelligence for Travel. Samarjit holds a Senior Management Programme (SMP) from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
