Samarth Mehta is an experienced Data and Machine Learning (ML) Engineer with expertise in real-time cloud infrastructure and PB-scale data solutions. Currently working as a Senior Data Engineer at meta, Samarth is responsible for building a user targeting data platform for Reality Labs and optimizing Ad efficiency through various ML models on top of core Facebook datasets. With a relevant experience of 8.02 years, Samarth has previously worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at motive where he built and scaled the company's first ML and Data platform. He architected solutions to go from research to processing capacity of 1M+ videos a day for real-time road safety annotation using Computer Vision. He has also worked as a Data Engineer at whistle labs. Samarth holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science (Data Science) from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
