Sameer Katti is a highly motivated and results-driven MS CS student with a passion for problem-solving. He has a demonstrated history of working in the computer networking industry and possesses exceptional skills in Python, C++, C, Go Lang, Java, HTML, and network technologies like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Multicast, QoS. Currently working as a Software Intern at Nvidia, Sameer is well-versed in developing software solutions and is constantly striving to learn new technologies. Prior to joining Nvidia, Sameer worked as a Technical Consulting Engineer at Cisco, where he provided technical solutions to customer network issues on Enterprise Routing/Switching platforms. As an escalation engineer in platform and routing technologies, he handled high complexity issues and mentored interns and new hires. Sameer also proactively involved himself in multiple projects that addressed critical issues and automated several crash decoding and CPU profiling tasks. In addition to his work at Cisco, Sameer also worked as a Network Engineering Intern at the same company, where he developed Virtual TAC, a container-based application to track memory usage on Cisco ASR1K platforms. This application helped to foresee and possibly avoid crashes due to memory issues. Sameer is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, which he is expected to complete in 2023. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from B.M.S. College of Engineering, which he completed in 2018. With a solid foundation in Python, Golang, and Java, Sameer is well-equipped to take on any software development challenge. His relevant experience of 3.11 years makes him an ideal candidate for any software development role. Sameer is a team player who enjoys working collaboratively to achieve project goals and is always looking for opportunities to expand his knowledge and skillset.
