Sammed Bhandari is a highly skilled Software Engineer II with 3.20 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently working at Honeywell, where he is responsible for developing microservices-architecture based web applications for warehouses' automation. Sammed is an expert in debugging various performance issues and identifying bottlenecks and slow processes for some of the key APIs. He has refactored one of the microservices to reduce the average transaction time from more than 1 second to around 300ms for one of the key business flows. Sammed has also ideated and worked on implementing performance testing at an earlier stage of Development Lifecycle, moving them from End-to-End level to microservice level. Currently, Sammed is working as a DataOps Engineer, where he is setting up the infra for the data pipelines of Kafka, Postgres, and Elasticsearch stack. He has a strong educational background, having completed his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Sammed has also worked as an Aerodynamics Design Engineer at IIT Bombay Racing.
