Sandhya Sridharan is a software engineering executive with over 30 years of experience in building world-class products and services. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of JPMC Core Development Platform and Head of JPMC Core Engineering at JP Morgan, Sandhya is responsible for hiring UX Designers and Product Managers for one of the largest developer platforms in the industry. Sandhya has a laser focus and data-driven approach to constantly transforming engineering for acceleration and predictability to gain momentum on customer acquisition and revenue growth. She has extensive experience leading product development, production engineering (CICD, SRE), customer success engineering, scale & performance engineering, and product testing from genesis to market. Sandhya has a strong focus on making technology and architecture choices that fit across the portfolio of products. With a consistent track record in building enterprise-grade products and SaaS services with the highest quality and operational readiness across a suite of products in the cloud management (Automation, Monitoring, Observability, Cost, etc.) as well as database management space, Sandhya is an expert in growing and scaling global engineering organizations and building strong, highly accountable teams. She is a decisive leader with a strong focus on KPIs to ensure the right directional trends. Sandhya has a strong passion for engineering excellence and customer success. She has advised on the Advisory Board of Women Who Code and served as Vice President of Engineering at VMware, where she led product development, production engineering (CI/CD & SRE), customer success engineering, and product validation (scale & perf testing and end-to-end testing) for VMware’s Cloud Management Business Unit. She managed 350+ engineering professionals across 5 geographies and was responsible for engineering for vRealize Automation (On-Prem) and Cloud Automation Service (SaaS). Sandhya has completed an Engineering Leadership Professional Program from the University of California, Berkeley College of Engineering, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Mysore. Her tech stack includes SRE, test, CI/CD, and Data Scientist.
