Sanskar Modi is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Uber, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's software systems. Prior to joining Uber, Sanskar worked at Qubole, where he held various technical positions. As a Member of Technical Staff 2, he was part of the Qubole Spark Team, where he worked on enhancing the performance of Qubole Spark by analyzing bottlenecks and adding new optimizations and tweaks to improve Spark Execution plan over TP-CDS database. He also added support in Qubole Spark to adhere to HIPPA compliance. As a Member of Technical Staff, he worked on developing Error Sink, a tool to detect and remove malicious records from Spark Streaming Pipelines and reprocess them again in an easeful way. He also worked on Qubole Spark PoC for a customer. Sanskar obtained his B.Tech degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi in 2018. He also holds a Full Stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp, where he gained expertise in technologies such as Python, Django, JavaScript, UI, Redux, and Integration. He completed his high school education from Cambridge School, Gwalior, where he studied PCM. He also attended middle school at Border Security Force Sr. Sec. School. Sanskar is proficient in various technologies such as Spark, C, Kafka, Web, and Python. He has a strong background in software engineering and is known for his ability to develop high-quality software systems. He is a quick learner and can adapt to new technologies and environments quickly. He is a team player and enjoys working in collaborative environments.
