Saurabh Gupta is a highly experienced engineering leader with over 16 years of experience in creating and managing highly scalable teams and stable products. He is currently serving as the Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft, where he leads a team of 18+ engineers in Noida. Saurabh is a creative individual who adapts to changing situations and disrupts the status quo when necessary. He inspires action by leading from the front and creating an inclusive and fun work environment. Saurabh has extensive experience in leading different virtual teams without authority and working on emerging Fluid Collaborative Technology and its integration with different partners. He has shipped multiple versions of a product from 1.0 to a mature product and has experience in server, client products, high-level RTL synthesis, logic optimization, and backend optimizations in the emulation domain. Saurabh has also developed multiple full-stack features and filed two patents and two international publications while receiving multiple recognition awards from companies. Prior to his current role, Saurabh worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft, where he led different teams, including the Microsoft Fluid Team and the Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL C++) Team. He also worked as a technical lead in the newly built PowerPoint Online team in Noida and developed full-stack features such as the Selection Pane and Footer Pane. Before that, Saurabh worked as a Software Engineer on the Duet project, which provided support for Employee and Manager Self-Service applications built on extensible infrastructure connecting Microsoft Office Professional 2003 and mySAP ERP 2004 in the areas of time management, budget monitoring, organization management, and leave management. Saurabh holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Computers from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from Aligarh Muslim University. He also attended Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya and earned a Master of Science, Masters, Master of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
