Selva Thurai is a highly skilled DevOps and Tech Specialist with over 10 years of relevant experience. He is currently working at Brillio as a Technical Specialist on the Digital Infrastructure team, where he is responsible for setting up monitoring tools from scratch, automation, infrastructure setup, incident management, and change management. Selva has deep hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Operation Engineer, and NOC Engineer, and he has expertise in designing, testing, and deploying cloud-native services and production sites in AWS. He is highly skilled in site reliability engineering (SRE), cloud security, and vulnerability tools such as tenable.io, crowd strike, netsparker, Rapid7, and qualsis. Selva is also skilled in database techniques like MySQL and MongoDB. Prior to joining Brillio, Selva worked at Tally as a Cloud Engineer/Production Engineer, where he worked on immutable infrastructure, Linux administration, automating repeated works, maintaining and administrating AWS accounts, creating monthly and quarterly budget plans for all AWS accounts, and creating pipelines for continuous delivery. He also worked with various teams to remove unused EC2 instances and saved money. Selva has also worked at Coviam as a DevOps Consultant, where he was responsible for the operations of 150+ servers in production and pre-production.
