Shailja Bagdi is a highly skilled software developer with over 7 years of experience in building large and scalable cloud applications. Currently working as a Senior PS Engineer at eGain Corporation, Shailja has hands-on experience in developing and deploying low latency, consistent, decentralized, and highly available Microservices and web-based applications using NodeJS JavaScript/TypeScript, React, MongoDB, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and AWS. In her previous role as an Engineer, IoT Explorations at Sedemac, Shailja developed the migration from the monolithic system to queue-based microservices, reduced server latency through caching of most frequented queries (Redis), designed, developed, and deployed CI/CD pipeline for integration testing, and developed a Load test script to measure the scalability of the architecture. She also actively took part in discussions involving system analysis, design documentation, and prototyped solutions. Additionally, she implemented SSLv1.2 certification for IoT devices, performed DB Migration and DB AAA, and developed UI Development of web apps using react-redux. Shailja also designed and developed AAA using a proxy design pattern. Before joining Sedemac, Shailja worked as a Consultant at Hitachi, where she developed an application for the restoration of data and configuration on Hitachi Network Attached Storage (HNAS), which aimed to reduce wastage, increase the efficiency of resources, and streamline the storage process. She also developed a CLI tool for Cisco and Brocade zoning and retrieving configuration at a very critical stage, integrated various tools of Hitachi with the application using REST-API, and developed express provisioning command-line tool. Shailja holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Software Engineering from SRM University. She is proficient in AWS, Microservices, Web, Decentralized, test, Integration, UI, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Javascript, Typescript, MongoDB, Jenkins, Software Engineer, CI/CD, Redis, and Redux.
