Shashi Kant is a Computer Science student from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati with a passion for exploring different fields in the domain. With a focus on Computer Networks and Machine Learning, he has gained experience in programming languages such as C, CPP, Python, Java, Visual Basic and R. Shashi's current area of research is Recommender Systems, which is a hot topic in the e-commerce industry. Currently working as a Python Developer at Artificial Learning Systems, Shashi is seeking a job or internship in a company that can help him nurture and enhance his skills in backend software development or data analytics. He has previously worked as a Software Engineer at SSN Solutions Limited and as a Software Developer at CareerPlugin, where he worked on developing a Smart Analysis Tool that analyzes the performance of students and generates detailed reports based on several parameters. Apart from his technical skills, Shashi is an avid reader and enjoys reading novels such as The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking, and mystery novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, and Erle Stanley Gardner. He also likes to hang out with friends, play outdoor sports like football, cricket, and tennis, and travel to new places. With a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from IIT Guwahati, Shashi has gained experience in various technologies such as Python, Flask, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Kafka, AWS, Information Retrieval, AI, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, Microservices, Integration, and Frontend.
