Shaunak Ghosh is a Member of Technical Staff III at VMware with almost 4 years of experience working with SAP across different industry solutions and technology stack as a developer. He is an enthusiastic problem solver and troubleshooter who is always ready to learn new technologies or methodologies. Shaunak has worked in different profiles like backend developer, solution consultant, and full stack developer in SAP. Currently, for the last 2 years, he has been working to develop cloud-native applications with microservice architecture. His team is focusing on developing a cloud solution that helps manage and digitalize product research and development (R&D). Shaunak is a Scholar at BITS Pilani, where he completed his Master’s in Computer Software Engineering through a work-integrated learning program. He has done his final year dissertation on “Failure Prediction using Shaplet’s transformation,” where he used Shaplet time series classification for identifying any defect class that represents the failure pattern. Apart from his work, Shaunak is an enthusiastic biker and fitness freak. He strongly believes that self-confidence plays a crucial role in building one’s personality, and staying physically fit is one of the best ways to increase self-confidence. On weekends, he spends time with his drum kit and is always ready to join an informal gig. Shaunak's past experience includes working as a Back End Developer in SAP's Maintenance Planner – CLM Software Logistics team and SAP Health Patient Engagement team. In the former, he developed the MP tool to visualize maintenance dependencies between technical systems, plan updates, upgrades, and new installations. In the latter, he developed a cloud solution that facilitated improved engagement and information exchange among patients, physicians, care providers, insurance companies, and other parties involved in healthcare. Shaunak's education history includes a Master of Technology in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor in Computer Application from the Institute of Engineering and Management. He completed his High School Diploma from M.P. Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School. Shaunak's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Backend, Web, Research Scientist, Microservices, Integration, Java, CI/CD, product designer, Spring, Jenkins, UI, and Selenium. He has 3.20 years of relevant experience.
