Shikha Kumari is a highly experienced member of the technical staff with a total of 9 years of experience in performance validation, tuning, and testing of software stack, JVM, Middleware, and Oracle Application. She has expertise in profiling tools such as Java Mission Control, Memory Analyser Tool, AWR, JDBC Trace, SQLHC, Fiddler, and Firebug. Her experience in heap dump analysis using Eclipse’s Memory Analyser Tool has helped her identify memory leaks causing JVM’s OutOfMemory errors. Shikha has developed an Auto-Bug filling tool to file slow SQL bugs directly from the customer environment using Oracle’s SQL Developer. She is skilled in scripting using UNIX Shell script, Python, PL/SQL Packages, and Oracle OpenScript. Shikha is an expert in system monitoring methodologies and metrics collection, analyzing CPU utilization, memory usage, and garbage collection to verify the performance of applications. She has extensive experience in scalability and single-user performance analysis of Oracle Applications, state-full (https) or stateless (REST) protocols. Shikha is an expert in creating and deploying automation scripts in Symantec’s internal automation framework designed to facilitate the provisioning and distribution of automation jobs. She initiated functional automation effort for Norton Power Eraser using IronPython 2.7 while working on agile methodologies and delivering results for each sprint.
