Shivam Garg is a highly skilled Simulation Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the automotive industry. Currently working at FEV India Pvt Ltd as a Powertrain Simulation Engineer, he specializes in Powertrain and Vehicle Simulation, Thermodynamics, Vehicle Dynamics, Engine Performance, Battery Thermal Management, Vehicle Thermal Management, R&D, and Innovation. He has been awarded the Best GET Award in FEV India Private Limited for his outstanding contribution to the company. Shivam is proficient in using various simulation software such as GT-SUITE, MATLAB/SIMULINK, AVL Cruise, Solidworks, Siemens NX, and Ansys. He has worked on EV and conventional thermal simulation with integration of HVAC and Cabin comfort. He has also worked on battery thermal management systems (BMS) in 1D and 3D simulations. In addition, Shivam has calibrated and simulated SI & CI - NA/TC with high and low-pressure EGR systems. He has done various studies of engine performance on altitude, using Atkinson/Miller cycle and optimizations to achieve the targets. He has also worked on two Formula student vehicles as Powertrain and Drivetrain Lead Engineer. Shivam has worked on different research projects, including "Production of diesel-like fuel and its testing" and "Study of fuel droplet from Pintle Nozzle Fuel Injector." He was awarded for his noble concept of "Emission reduction without compromising car performance" in TECHgium by L&T Technologies. Shivam's past experience includes working at Maruti Suzuki as a Project Trainee, where he worked under Powertrain Simulation and Benchmarking Department. He also worked at Aerox Motorsports as a Powertrain and Drivetrain Lead Engineer, where he worked on Bajaj DTSi 125st, Briggs and Stratton 550 series, KTM 390 engines, and their transmission systems. Shivam completed his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from SRM University. He is a Research Scientist and Senior Software Engineer with a strong technical background and relevant experience in the field.
