Shivam Sharma is a talented and passionate Blockchain Engineer with a strong interest in solving tech challenges using the latest technologies. He has extensive experience in building smart contracts and understanding DeFi and Stablecoins. Shivam has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology, one of the top 12 engineering colleges in India as per 2021 rankings. During his time at VIT University, Shivam focused not only on theory but also on practical applications. He helped TVS Motors, a top Indian bike manufacturer, to organise and display defects in manufactured bikes in advance through an automated application that was designed to flash the warning signals along with photographs on large screens. This helped the firm eliminate manual intervention through a team of workers that would have to physically check each bike on the production line. Shivam also headed the android club while at university, enabling 60+ students to learn about the fundamentals of building android applications, managing coursework, teaching and grading for this course. He also organised 2 hackathons and gained extensive experience in senior stakeholder management, student community management and teamwork during this process. Currently, Shivam works as a Software Engineer at The Taj Mall, where he gave inputs in the development of their company's e-commerce website. He has also held various leadership positions in his college, including Vice President in OWASP Student Chapter in Vellore Institute of Technology and Vice President of the Android Club in Vellore Institute of Technology. Shivam has worked on AI-based projects to identify the physical defects in manufactured vehicles (bikes) and notify the client on a web dashboard. He has also extensively worked on Flask frameworks on Python using Jinja Template Engine to readily transmit the data from neural networks output to the database and displaying it on the web dashboard. Shivam has a strong tech stack that includes Blockchain, Polygon, Android, Smart Contract, and DeFi.
