Shivam Yadav is a final year Computer Science Engineering student at VIT, Vellore, with a passion for learning and applying new things to make a positive change in the world. With years of experience captaining football teams, he has developed great leadership and team management skills. Shivam has an innate knack for problem-solving and puts in great efforts to achieve his goals, both in the short and long term. Believing that technology is here to augment jobs and people's lives, Shivam is language and tech-stack agnostic and can learn anything required for progress by the current job. He is a Python developer, Django developer, and a deep learning enthusiast. Shivam has worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft and as a Prism Research Intern at Samsung. While at Samsung, he worked on a team of three members and was responsible for layer 1 of the Intelligent Text Normalisation for ASR systems project, which included tasks such as data gathering using web mining, data analysis and cleaning, and inferring insights regarding the data. He used NLP and a rule-based approach for building layer 1 and accomplishing the required tasks. Currently, Shivam is a Data Science and Business Analytics intern at The Sparks Foundation. He has also worked as a Hustler at Skillenza, where he was responsible for business development. Shivam's specialties include software engineering, research science, frontend development, deep learning, and data science. With almost two years of relevant experience, Shivam is well-equipped to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of any organization he joins.
