Shubham Pawar is a multi-talented individual with a diverse range of skills and interests. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Operations Research with a focus on financial applications at Columbia University. Shubham's motto is "Jack of many trades AND Master of some," and he has gained critical working knowledge in several fields, including Deep Learning, Financial Risk Management, Data Science, Macroeconomics, Discrete Optimization, Developing Trading systems, Back-end Web programming, Sports Analytics, and Internet scraping. He believes that his broad knowledge base increases the breadth of his toolset and provides multiple orthogonal dimensions to look at a problem. Shubham is interested in identifying Credit opportunities and Daily Fantasy Lineup Optimization, and he is looking for internship opportunities in data science and quantitative finance. He has experience working as an Engineer and Software Engineering Intern at Qualcomm, where he developed drivers and user-space tools for WiFi Integration and enabled the FTM Daemon to support Radio Calibration of WiFi Chipsets. He also worked on system implementation of BSS Color feature which is part of 802.11ax Draft Specification the upcoming High-Efficiency (HE) WiFi Standard. Shubham has a strong mathematics background and excellent analytical skills. He is proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, R, and Matlab. Shubham holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from NIT Tiruchirappalli. He has also completed a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from Columbia University. Shubham's past experiences include identifying and exposing design flaws in the code written by Qualcomm Atheros for implementing WLAN module, creation of intellectual property for leveraging novel implementations in the wireless communication domain, and design and automation of WLAN Test Suites.
