Simran J. is a talented designer and software engineer with a passion for exploring experimental mediums that work in conjunction with technology. With a focus on integrating visuals with coding, Simran is interested in designing for social causes and creating interactive experiences for gaming. Currently working as an LSO Lab Aide at the New School, Simran assists in the functions of the i8 LSO Lab at Arnold Hall. Prior to this role, she gained valuable experience as a Graphic Design Intern at Pentagons, where she designed websites, logos, and branding kits for various client marketing purposes. She also promoted the company's events by designing marketing materials, such as posters, digital invites, and brochures. Simran also organized Adobe Suite workshops to introduce designing to team members. Simran's experience also includes working as a Software Engineer Intern at DMI, where she worked on the software Salesforce and executed two projects for the company. She created models for Profit/Loss calculation using Salesforce and devised a process for Loan Disbursement using Salesforce. Simran also has experience coding and debugging test classes in Apex. Simran's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from NIT Kurukshetra and a High School degree from Delhi Public School in Faridabad. She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Design + Technology from Parsons School of Design at the New School. Simran has a strong technical skill set, with expertise in Salesforce, software engineering, and test classes. She has 0.27 years of relevant experience and is eager to continue exploring new mediums and technologies in her work.
