Soeb Hussain is a highly skilled Machine Learning Research Assistant currently working at Northeastern University. With a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, he has amassed over 4 years of relevant experience in the field of ML, software engineering, research science, AWS, Hadoop, and mobile development. Prior to his current role, Soeb worked as a Software Engineer at Fidelity, where he was responsible for modernizing finance applications in managerial finance to align with enterprise goals of moving towards cloud-based solutions. He also partnered with business system analysts and business analysts to understand business objectives and provided technical vision, building a Management Analytical Platform and Data Lake using Hadoop and AWS. Soeb's passion for AI and ML led him to work as a Research Intern at Hanyang University, where he implemented AI and ML for making a new human-computer interaction platform. In the project, hand gestures were used to control the computer using a mobile camera. Soeb is a highly motivated and driven individual who is always seeking new challenges and opportunities to expand his skillset. He is currently seeking summer internships in 2023 to further his knowledge and experience in the field of ML. With his extensive experience and technical expertise, Soeb is an asset to any team he works with.
