Somya Chaturvedi is an accomplished software engineer with a passion for coding, databases, machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning. With almost 5 years of relevant experience, Somya is adept in C++ and Python, and has worked with some of the biggest names in the tech industry. Currently, she is a Software Engineer II at Microsoft, working on Azure SQL Server. Somya's past experience includes working as a Developer at SAP, where she developed support for backup catalog and added Python scripts to automate backup, recovery, and backup retention on the cloud. She also explored and used Docker, Kubernetes, and other technologies to automate backup and restore functionality on the cloud. Additionally, Somya added various Prometheus queries for backup metering on the cloud, last backup timestamp, and more. Prior to this, she worked as a Developer Associate at SAP, where she enabled IQ to support equal striped backups. Somya holds a Master of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Bachelor's degree from UIT RGPV Bhopal. She also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya for her secondary education. Somya's tech stack includes expertise in software engineering, SQL, Azure, Python, computer vision, deep learning, Docker, ML, test, Kubernetes, Jenkins, infra, Keras, TensorFlow, MySQL, and PyTorch.
