He has a proven track record of building and scaling startups from idea to revenue, and has been part of top-level or founding teams at multiple startups that have gone through acquisition or exit. Prior to Supercraft.co, Soum founded and served as CEO of Spark.Live, India's premium passion economy platform, which raised $2 million and grew to $1 million+ ARR within a year of public launch. He has deep experience in building platform technology, with a focus on UI/UX informed by AI/ML/Data Science, and creating data-backed applications. Soum has led operations and built agile teams, and driven fundraise in India, US, and UK. Soum is also a 2x published non-fiction author, with books that have made bestseller lists, and a TEDx Speaker. He has traveled through 40+ countries and has a B.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, as well as Research Assistant and Internship experiences from University of Zurich and EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland. In addition to Supercraft.co and Spark.Live, Soum has founded Sixthdot Labs, which provides technology and strategy advisory to firms looking to tap into growth opportunities in emerging markets. He has also worked with clients like Swadhaar FinAccess and MFIN, leading to award-winning applications that tap India's growing consumer-base.
