Soumya Ranjan Meher is a highly creative and experienced UX Designer with expertise in product and graphic design, as well as advanced skills in the latest Adobe creative suite, including Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Invision. With knowledge in HTML5 and CSS3, he is a specialist in User Experience Design, UX Research, and Data Visualization. Currently working as a User Experience Designer at bookingjini, Soumya is responsible for designing SaaS products for hoteliers, interacting with them to understand their business and design needs, creating engaging and delightful designs based on user requirements, conceptualizing, designing, prototyping, and presenting the design. He has also designed a B2C product where users can book hotels, order food at their doorstep, and express check-in, among other features. Prior to bookingjini, Soumya worked with H2M Food and a medical product where he designed the strategy, branding, identity, and strategic business goals. He conducted user interviews and surveys to gather data, analyzed it, and designed the product based on that. He has also worked as a Research Assistant and Design Researcher at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where he worked closely with his mentor and clients to understand their ideas and undertake research and development to develop new products. Soumya has a Master of Technology in Industrial and Product Design from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, a diploma in Fashion Design from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology. He is currently pursuing a diploma in UX/UI from Designboat UI/UX School. With a relevant experience of 1.52 years, Soumya is a passionate designer with a knack for critical thinking, problem-solving, and creating immersive experiences.
