Sourav Dutta is a skilled Senior Software Engineer at Samsung R&D with over 3 years of relevant experience in the field. He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Jadavpur University, which he completed in 2020. He also attended Birla High School from 2011 to 2016. In his current role as a Student Trainee at Samsung, Sourav is responsible for migrating web services of Samsung Pay - Bill Payment APIs from SOAP to RESTful services. He has enabled backward compatibility to support SOAP services as and when required. He is an expert in various technologies such as AWS, Mobile, Redis, Django, and Postgres. Prior to his current position, Sourav worked as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Cogno AI. Here, he built a Cobrowsing solution using Django framework that helps BFSI enterprises in assisting customers through onboarding journey. He also deployed and maintained Cobrowsing projects of BFSI enterprises, namely ICICI Direct, IDFC First Bank, Bajaj Allianz, Aditya Birla Capital, IIFL, and a few more, using AWS, Nginx, Gunicorn, Daphne, Postgres, and Redis. Sourav has also worked as a Student Developer at Crio.do, where he developed a work portfolio. He is a quick learner and has a strong passion for software engineering.
