As a software engineer and a technology agnostic, Srivarun Neelakantan is a firm believer that sorting the "why" is the most important part of any project. He predominantly works in back-end web development and has gained knowledge in API as a design paradigm. With 4.45 years of relevant experience, his current skillset includes proficiency in Java and Javascript, as well as being well-versed in SOLID principles and Design Patterns. He has also worked with Struts framework, Jersey, and Spring Boot. Srivarun has worked with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and JQuery for front-end rendering and has worked with SQL and NOSQL on a professional level, including PGSQL, Mongo, and Neo4j. He is currently working as a software engineer at Gainsight and has previously worked at Zoho as a Member of Technical Staff. At Zoho, he played a key role in enhancing the Auto discovery module to show graphical relationships between applications and servers. He also revamped the File/Directory monitor and added more flexibility and options in the monitoring process. He analyzed and fixed security vulnerabilities in legacy code, utilizing Java, Struts, REST, Apache Tomcat, HTML, Javascript, jQuery, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL. Srivarun completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Easwari Engineering College (SRM Group) in 2018 and his high school education from Chinmaya Vidyalaya in 2012. His tech stack includes software engineering, web development, Java, Javascript, back-end development, SQL, Neo4j, Spring, MongoDB, Spring Boot, NoSQL, front-end development, microservices, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Redis, and UI.
